Senior Project Controls Manager (Pharmaceuticals Construction)

Location: Hybrid initially; based on-site in Richmond, Virginia, with relocation to Virginia expected in 2027. Relocation costs may be supported.

Salary: $126,000–$160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and education.

What you will do

• Assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices, and costs to ensure best value for clients.
• Manage and monitor project schedules and cash flow.
• Oversee capital planning for new projects.
• Prepare owner estimates and lead estimate review meetings.
• Provide monthly executive and project status reports, schedule updates, and project risk updates to key partners.
• Mentor employees and support their performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Experience working on large ground-up pharmaceutical or life sciences projects, or similar projects.
• Ability to distill project data into concise updates that enable rapid and informed decisions.
• Successful experience in project controls, including cost control, scheduling, and estimating.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Passion for building a global team and developing and encouraging employees.
• Ability to work on-site in Richmond, Virginia, with relocation to Virginia expected in 2027.
