Senior Engineering Analyst (Engineering, Senior Analyst)

Location: Hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site in Lexington Park, MD; work at Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, MD, and various job sites. Travel of approximately 35% to CONUS and OCONUS locations is required.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze and troubleshoot communication systems and other designated programs supporting Department of the Navy missions.
• Develop and perform test and evaluation procedures for electronic and communication systems.
• Perform maintenance, quality assurance inspections, and operational checks on electronics and communication systems.
• Execute complex planning and tasking while supporting customer and government facility requirements.
• Travel approximately 35% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience with DoD, military, or other government agency electronics and communication systems.
• Ability to accurately interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with HF, VHF, UHF, and SATCOM radios and modems.
• Familiarity with RF, power, and data test equipment.
• Familiarity with system administration and network communication tasks, including IP verification and ping tests.
• Experience working at a customer site or government facility and experience in Navy aviation maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college. Six years of related additional work experience, or an Associate’s Degree plus four years of related additional work experience, may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate and work independently.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of progressive experience with DoD, military, or other government agency electronics and communication systems.
• CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification.
• 2-M, IPC, or J-Standard certification.
• Experience with OOMA or MATILDA maintenance databases.
