Systems Integrator - SOCOM

Location: Cannon AFB, NM, US; travel up to 25%; active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship required.

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support USSOCOM PEO-TIS fielding, synchronization, acquisition, vendor coordination, and technical integration activities across STC, FCD-W, and Watchtower programs.
• Integrate equipment into existing tactical network architectures for demonstrations, testing, operational use, and interoperability validation.
• Configure and support MANET radios, TAK/ATAK/WinTAK deployments, TAK Server, satellite, LTE, router, and switch environments.
• Deliver new equipment training, on-the-job training, sustainment instruction, and technical guidance to end users.
• Support live exercises, RDT&E events, operational deployments, and time-sensitive mission requirements.
• Manage inventory, equipment shipments, repairs, maintenance documentation, lifecycle tracking, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance and US citizenship.
• Strong background in DoD tactical or strategic communications and network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with MANET radios, the TAK ecosystem, and secure network configuration.
• Familiarity with Android/iOS systems and wireless transport technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in USSOCOM communications roles.
• Expertise or in-depth knowledge of AN/PRC-137, TRQ-43, AN/PRC-160, AN/PRC-161, BATS-D, TRAX, HF communications, and antenna theory.
• CompTIA Security+, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent SOF communications experience.
• Linux administration, PKI, Docker, networking protocols, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office Suite administration experience.
• Azure/AWS cloud experience and Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Experience managing crisis situations involving network outages, delays, and time-sensitive deployment support.
