Software Program Manager, Software Engineering Operations (AI/HPC)

Location: Remote for employees residing within the United States; department location listed as Austin, Texas.

What you will do

• Plan and execute software initiatives by managing schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and execution status.
• Coordinate software deliverables and dependencies across software, firmware, hardware, platform, systems engineering, development, test, DevOps, and field teams.
• Support release planning, readiness reviews, defect visibility, and go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain dashboards, status reports, risk registers, milestone tracking, communication rhythms, project artifacts, and decision records.
• Coordinate customer-facing software issues, escalations, mitigation plans, commitments, and resolution status.
• Improve Jira workflows, release tracking, bug triage, dependency management, prioritization, and engineering operating processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software project management, including direct ownership of schedules, dependencies, and release execution.
• Experience supporting high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML infrastructure, or other performance-critical systems environments.
• Experience coordinating software deliverables against hardware or platform schedules, including bring-up, integration, and system-level milestones.
• Knowledge of modern methodologies, AI workflows, and proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Software Engineering background.
• Exposure to fabric, networking, or silicon product development, or AI training and inference infrastructure at scale.
