Company

hirify.global develops low-power wireless connectivity and highly integrated SoCs for smart home, industrial IoT, and smart city applications.

What you will do

  • Contribute to the initial development of Zigbee, BLE, Wi-SUN, Z-Wave, M-Bus, and proprietary PHY configurations for RF SoCs.
  • Perform pre-silicon testing with block- and chip-level test benches and FPGA emulation.
  • Bring up and validate new IP on silicon, supporting optimization through the product development lifecycle.
  • Perform RF lab measurements including RX sensitivity, frequency, baud-rate and deviation tolerance, blocking, and TX output power.
  • Provide RFIC performance analysis, data presentation, and training to IC Design, Applications, Firmware, PTE, SQA, Systems, and Modules teams.
  • Guide the software team on RF software implementation for scalable test infrastructure and efficient workflows.

Requirements

  • BSEE or MSEE and 1–3 years of industry experience with mixed-signal SoCs and RF signal chains.
  • Experience using Python or another high-level modeling language or tool to design and evaluate communication systems and algorithms.
  • Strong understanding of analog signal fundamentals, basic circuit components, and specifications.
  • Experience with RF signal chains including LNAs, mixers, PAs, A/D, and D/A converters.
  • Experience with digital modulation formats such as MSK/FSK, OQPSK, and OOK/ASK.
  • Proficiency using standard RF laboratory instruments, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and SMUs.
  • Knowledge of wireless communications standards and protocols including Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4, and 802.11 Wi-Fi.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high output independently.

Nice to have

  • Basic DSP knowledge, including up/down sampling and FIR filtering.
  • Experience with revision control and configuration management systems.

Culture & Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision plans, including PPO or consumer-driven plans with HSA options.
  • Flexible vacation plan, 401(k) with match and Roth option, equity rewards, and disability coverage.
  • Flexible spending accounts, adoption assistance, backup childcare, commuter benefits, legal benefits, and pet insurance.
