RF Power Systems Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead or execute complex electrical engineering projects, including key supplier development.
• Design, specify, and modify electrical assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, and product specifications.
• Troubleshoot RF matchers, RF generators, high-voltage power supplies, and other process-critical power modules.
• Support root cause corrective action and resolve high-value customer problems through experimentation, modeling, and simulation.
• Define and perform engineering tests, generate test reports, and develop documentation for product releases.
• Lead project teams and communicate complex technical issues with internal, external, and customer engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, schematics, troubleshooting, and engineering analysis.
• Background in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective action methodologies.
• Experience supporting complex semiconductor process equipment, particularly RF and high-voltage power modules.
• Ability to work in Austin, United States, with approximately 10% travel.
