Field Engineer (Construction)

Annual base salary: $65,000–$100,000

What you will do

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendents with managing subcontractors and suppliers on the project site.
• Update, monitor, and organize construction documents, meeting minutes, daily reports, photos, and close-out records in Procore.
• Monitor jobsite work practices for compliance with OSHA requirements, the hirify.global Illness and Injury Prevention Program, and construction policies.
• Create, distribute, and track punch lists, RFIs, submittals, and related logs.
• Ensure subcontractors complete weekly safety toolbox topics and maintain accurate daily documentation.
• Assist with site lock-up, close-down, and turning units as directed.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience.
• Good working knowledge of construction management theory and practice.
• PC proficiency, including strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Willingness to become proficient in construction software for scheduling, estimating, and Procore.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• One year of construction experience.
