Senior Business Analyst (Payments)

What you will do

• Develop business requirements, backlogs, and detailed business specifications with worked numerical examples.
• Develop functional architectures and solution designs.
• Create delivery roadmaps and identify dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Perform business process reengineering for a multi-year cross-border payments transformation and integration project.
• Engage client stakeholders to gather and validate requirements and Lab49 outputs.
• Facilitate workshops between Lab49 and clients to resolve issues, manage risks, and discover requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with business analysis projects as an individual and as part of a team.
• Experience in business analysis within financial markets and working knowledge of financial markets, payments, typical financial flows, and architecture.
• Experience working with IT teams to deliver products or solutions and taking projects from inception through delivery.
• Working knowledge of business process modelling.
• Ability to gather and document business requirements and develop detailed specifications and numerical examples.
• Understanding of agile methodologies, including creating epics and user stories and effectively managing backlogs.
• Stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, including representing the team, project, and firm in client situations.
• Willingness and ability to work hands-on as needed.
