Engineer II-Design (RF/Microwave Acoustics)

Location: Teltow, Germany; onsite. Travel: 0%–25%.

What you will do

• Develop and improve next-generation acoustic-wave filter technologies and design tools supporting high-performance microwave acoustic SAW components and integrated modules.
• Contribute to cross-functional product and technology development projects for next-generation acoustic-wave product solutions.
• Develop material systems, manufacturing technologies, and computer-aided design and simulation tools for advanced microwave acoustics solutions.
• Use RF test equipment to characterize microwave acoustics components during development.
• Manage or contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and develop basic software tools supporting engineering projects.
• Collaborate extensively with R&D and other engineering departments in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable discipline.
• Up to 5 years of professional experience.
• Background or experience in RF engineering, including electromagnetic and circuit simulation tools such as Keysight ADS and measurement techniques.
• Programming experience in MATLAB and/or other relevant technical programming languages.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in German and English, including the ability to prepare and present technical data and documentation.

Nice to have

• Professional or academic background in microwave acoustic technology, including SAW or BAW.
• Experience with multiphysics modeling.
