Producer, Scout Studios (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Based at the hirify.global corporate headquarters with 4–5 days per week in the office, regular travel averaging 30%, and occasional weekends and long days in active production environments.

Base salary: $85,000–$105,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Produce Scout Studios projects from initial brief through production, post-production, and final delivery.
• Translate creative concepts into executable production plans in partnership with directors, cinematographers, editors, and content creators.
• Manage schedules, call sheets, budgets, crews, equipment, travel, locations, permitting, talent, releases, insurance, and logistics.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, agencies, vendors, freelancers, production partners, and talent while maintaining clear communication about deliverables and deadlines.
• Identify production risks, develop solutions, manage multiple workstreams, and support location scouting, casting, vehicle coordination, and field production.
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, vendor agreements, and expenses while helping establish scalable production processes, templates, workflows, and standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in production, creative production, integrated production, or a related field.
• Experience producing commercial, branded, documentary, automotive, lifestyle, editorial, or entertainment content.
• Strong understanding of production workflows from pre-production through post-production.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, vendors, crews, travel, locations, and deliverables.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and confidence working with senior creative leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, quick decision-making, collaboration, resourcefulness, flexibility, and a growth mindset in changing production environments.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Active driver’s license and ability to drive urban, highway, country, gravel, and light off-road roads and trails when needed.

Nice to have

• Automotive or mobility experience.
• Experience producing documentary or unscripted storytelling.
• Experience with experiential, events, or live production.
• Familiarity with automotive shoots involving picture vehicles, tracking vehicles, specialty rigs, and remote locations.
• Experience helping build or scale an internal creative studio.
• Existing relationships with production companies, crews, vendors, and freelance talent.
