Graduate Quality Assurance & Test Engineer (SAP BTP)

Location: Hybrid in Walldorf, Munich, Berlin, or Potsdam, Germany, with on-site and remote options.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and document testing activities for Customer Portal, Document Management, and Monitoring modules.
• Set up and maintain test and development environments, including test simulators for integrations with external systems.
• Create and maintain test cases and scenarios for SAP BTP applications and services built with RAP and CAP.
• Test authentication, authorization, functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, accessibility, privacy, and security.
• Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with development teams on resolution.
• Participate in integration, user acceptance, release, automated, and regression testing, as well as continuous improvement in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or expected graduation within the next few months.
• Foundational software testing knowledge gained through university projects, internships, working student roles, or personal projects.
• Interest in software quality assurance, test automation, and cloud technologies.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and modern application architectures.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate in agile and cross-functional teams.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Eagerness to learn SAP technologies and quality engineering practices.

Nice to have

• Initial exposure to software testing tools or test automation frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of SAP BTP, RAP, or CAP through coursework, internships, or personal learning.
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, or application security concepts.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive software design principles.
• Exposure to performance testing, security testing, or penetration testing concepts.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation solutions.
• German language skills.
