Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated frontend and E2E tests, complemented by manual and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Designers, and other QA professionals in an agile, cross-functional team.
• Own and refine frontend test strategies based on product risk and business impact.
• Communicate test coverage, quality status, and risks to support informed delivery decisions.
• Own and improve the E2E test pipeline, keeping it stable, fast, and reliable for multiple teams.
• Test complex user flows in a microservices environment and identify edge cases while applying security, usability, accessibility, and performance best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of experience testing web applications and creating and maintaining automated frontend tests.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, or comparable modern E2E frameworks such as Cypress.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD test pipelines and diagnosing and resolving flaky tests.
• Understanding of microservices and continuous delivery environments with frequent releases.
• Strong collaboration, ownership, and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills required; German is appreciated but not required.
