Lead Solution Engineer Web & Mobile (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)

What you will do

• Lead Software Engineers and Developers working on ecommerce, mobile apps, and internal web applications.
• Drive technology delivery and end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud, PIM, DAM, mobile apps, and internal web applications.
• Coordinate solution design and development with internal and external teams and deliver business-owner backlogs.
• Support budget discussions, optimize system usage, and manage capacity planning for the reporting line and roadmap.
• Oversee code quality, coding standards, security, test automation, technical documentation, fix packs, and updates.
• Present solutions and estimates to IT leadership, business process owners, and service owners while ensuring adherence to IT processes and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in solution architecture and development with Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Salesforce B2C Commerce.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of mobile development platforms sufficient to lead technical discussions and manage deliveries.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Solid knowledge or awareness of MACH architecture: microservices, API-first, cloud-native, and headless.
• Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot, React and Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools, AWS, or Azure Cloud.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management.
• German language skills.
