DWH Developer Ab Initio

Location: Germany; hybrid model with predominantly remote work and on-site visits to the client's office once every 2–3 months.

What you will do

• Analyse business requirements and design, develop, test, and deploy ETL processes.
• Develop and enhance solutions across the Core Warehouse, Derivation Area, and Data Marts.
• Translate business stakeholder needs into technical solutions and provide technical consulting in ETL and Data Warehousing.
• Support data modelling and the ongoing development of the enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Participate in testing activities and agile project delivery.
• Support, coach, and train internal employees in Ab Initio.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Warehousing and ETL development, including hands-on experience with Ab Initio.
• Experience working with enterprise Data Warehouse environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL and experience with Oracle databases, preferably Oracle 19c.
• Very good command of German.
• Experience in banking or financial services and a good understanding of banking processes.
• Knowledge of Linux, Data Warehouse architecture, and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently across the ETL development lifecycle and directly with business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting and BCBS 239.
• Experience with PowerDesigner.
• Familiarity with IBM Rational ClearCase, MF ALM, Scrum, SAFe, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy.
