Analytics Engineer, Revenue, Purchase & Order

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with 2 recommended office days per week.

Salary: €61,200–€82,800 gross annual.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and evolve reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient data products and pipelines for analytics and machine learning use cases across revenue, purchase, and order domains.
• Embed automated testing, validation, and quality controls throughout the data lifecycle.
• Improve monitoring and alerting to detect and resolve data issues before they affect downstream consumers.
• Own production data systems end to end, including incident investigation, root-cause diagnosis, and implementation of durable fixes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Decision Scientists, Backend Engineering, Product, and Business teams to translate needs into trusted data solutions.
• Contribute to the Analytics Engineering Guild’s shared tooling, engineering standards, and reusable capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a closely related data role.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing fundamentals, with the ability to build clean, performant, and maintainable data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with dbt or a similar data transformation framework, including well-structured and tested data models.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data modelling principles and their application to real-world analytical problems.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar.
• Comfort working with high-volume, business-critical data while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
