Finance Data & Systems Lead (NetSuite/BigQuery)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end validation of finance data across Amazon Seller Central, other marketplaces, NetSuite, inventory systems, 3PLs, banking tools, connectors, and BigQuery.
• Build automated reconciliations, data-quality checks, exception reports, alerts, and certified data sets for sales, margin, inventory, and cash.
• Investigate pipeline and connector failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues through to resolution with Accounting, NetSuite, IT, FP&A, Operations, and brand teams.
• Improve finance systems and processes through requirements definition, functional specifications, workflows, user acceptance testing, and downstream validation.
• Lead finance data and systems workstreams for newly acquired brands, including entity setup, data migration, and sales-channel integrations.
• Establish access governance, segregation-of-duties checks, documentation, SOPs, and the validated data foundation for AI-enabled finance workflows.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in finance data, analytics engineering, financial systems, or e-commerce finance operations.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and proven experience reconciling financial data across ERPs, marketplaces, and data warehouses.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on BigQuery experience, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with ERP implementation, data migration, or post-acquisition integration through go-live.
• Understanding of GL, AP, AR, intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, inventory, COGS, FX, and multi-entity, multi-currency reporting.
• Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.

Nice to have

• NetSuite certification, SuiteScript, or experience with saved searches and workflows.
• Experience with Pipe17, Celigo, Ramp, Tableau, Looker, or Python.
• Experience in a buy-and-build, roll-up, or multi-brand environment.
• Exposure to AI or agent use cases in finance.
