Project Manager (IT)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia or Gdańsk, Poland, with 2–3 days per week from the office.

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN/day on B2B.

What you will do

• Lead complex, cross-functional technology transformation initiatives from initiation through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate delivery across application owners, infrastructure, architecture, operations, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and external vendors.
• Establish project governance and manage scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, finances, and resource plans.
• Coordinate technical remediation, operational resilience, service management, and operational improvement initiatives in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Facilitate decisions and stakeholder alignment in a complex matrix organization.
• Provide reporting and communication to senior management, steering committees, and governance forums.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience managing large-scale IT or technology transformation projects.
• Proven delivery of complex initiatives involving multiple technology teams, infrastructure platforms, and application owners.
• Strong experience in project governance, risk and dependency management, financial control, and executive reporting.
• Experience managing projects with significant organizational complexity and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments, including applications, infrastructure, service management, and operational processes.
• Experience with technology lifecycle management, application portfolio management, software remediation, or technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Knowledge of IT service management principles and operating models, and experience driving change across application, infrastructure, and platform teams.
• Experience working within regulated environments, preferably financial services. Strong understanding of technology risk management, operational resilience, and governance requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory and risk-driven requirements into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills, including presenting to senior leaders, technical experts, operational teams, steering committees, and governance forums.

Nice to have

• Experience with DORA or other regulatory compliance initiatives affecting technology and operations.
• Experience in ITSM environments and service modelling initiatives.
• Knowledge of service mapping, application dependency mapping, or CMDB-related initiatives.
• Experience delivering operational resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, or failover capability projects.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, BMC Discovery, CMDB platforms, project portfolio management tools, and architecture repositories.
• Experience in application remediation initiatives.
