Compliance Technology Program Lead (AI)

Location: Remote, Bay Area, California, United States

Salary: $142,600–$213,800 USD annually depending on location zone; other listed ranges extend up to $257,600.

What you will do

• Use Claude and comparable LLM-based agents to automate compliance oversight, monitoring, documentation, requirements drafting, data-quality monitoring, and model-performance reporting.
• Design human-in-the-loop checkpoints and maintain defensible, exam-ready documentation for automated compliance outputs.
• Establish model and data governance aligned with SR 11-7, SR 26-2, and OCC 2011-12, providing effective challenge throughout the model development lifecycle.
• Lead real-time dashboards, input-data monitoring, performance monitoring, threshold tuning, below-the-line testing, and triggers for model tuning or deprecation.
• Oversee transaction monitoring, hirify.globalchain analytics and screening tools including TRM and Chainalysis, sanctions screening with LexisNexis, and customer risk scoring models.
• Oversee explainable, auditable AI-driven case-resolution models that triage, enrich, or disposition alerts, partnering with Machine Learning, Engineering, BSA/AML Policy, and CAX stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance technology at regulated financial institutions or as a consultant working with financial institutions.
• Hands-on production experience with Claude, GPT, or comparable LLM-based agents, including prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and integration of AI into operational processes.
• Experience with both machine learning and heuristic models across transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and customer risk scoring.
• Experience with input-data quality monitoring and model-performance monitoring.
• Experience conducting AML model validations aligned with SR 11-7 and OCC 2011-12.
• Experience responding to examinations and consent orders and working with regulators and independent monitors.
• Experience with virtual currencies and their transaction-monitoring and sanctions-screening considerations.
• Familiarity with hirify.globalchain analytics and screening tools such as Chainalysis and TRM Labs.
• A track record of driving cross-functional initiatives and a working understanding of regulated financial services and related compliance obligations.
• Familiarity with statistical concepts related to machine learning and expertise in data analytics and visualization.
