Staff Product Designer, Listing & Inventory (AI)

Location: Brooklyn, New York, US, with remote work available within the United States. Candidates within commuting distance of the Brooklyn office are expected to come in once or twice per week; remote candidates outside commuting distance may be considered case by case and should expect occasional travel to the office.

Salary: $187,000–$253,000 annual in Geo-1 and $168,000–$228,000 annual in Geo-2.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design projects across the Inventory organization from early concepts through launch.
• Design listing creation and inventory management experiences across web and mobile for sellers and buyers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Research, and Analytics on the List Create squad.
• Prototype concepts, gather feedback, and guide product decisions.
• Advance visual design, interaction design, motion, and design systems quality.
• Mentor designers through feedback, critiques, and day-to-day collaboration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience.
• Exceptional visual design craft demonstrated through a portfolio of shipped product work.
• Strong motion and interaction design skills that improve clarity, usability, and delight.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills for bringing ideas to life and influencing decisions.
• Expertise in prototyping, from rapid exploration to polished, high-fidelity experiences.
• Experience using AI to accelerate design exploration and improve product outcomes.
• Track record of bringing clarity to complex, ambiguous product challenges.
