Connectivity Systems Engineer

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model with 40% per quarter when possible. Some business travel to Germany and France may be required.

What you will do

• Take functional and system design responsibility for connectivity in new technology projects.
• Participate in system and function definition for the AHE FireFighting24H project.
• Perform system engineering and system-level integration of connectivity functionalities for helicopter mission systems.
• Define CONOPS and functional, mechanical, electrical, logical, and human-machine interface requirements.
• Research and share knowledge of current and future systems market solutions.
• Interface with architecture, software, project management, quality, procurement, and other project stakeholders, and support knowledge exchange across hirify.global divisions.

Requirements

• Aeronautical or Telecommunication Engineering degree, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, engineering, and/or integrating systems for aircraft.
• Technical knowledge of Tactical Communication, Data Links, SATCOM, 5G, and connectivity.
• High adaptability when working on new topics and new business in a networking mode.
• Team spirit and good communication skills.
• Advanced English.
• Ability to travel for business to Germany and France.
