Combat Ground Support Equipment Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working when possible, with travel to customer air bases and sites.

What you will do

• Prepare technical specifications for ground support equipment supporting the Eurofighter, SIRTAP, Eurodrone, and FCAS programmes.
• Provide technical input for supplier selection and follow up equipment design and prototype manufacturing.
• Validate equipment on aircraft and conduct qualification and compatibility tests.
• Prepare ground support equipment recommendations and evaluate customer capabilities through site surveys.
• Provide technical assistance, including installation and commissioning support at customer operating bases.
• Analyse aircraft modifications and their impact on developed ground support equipment.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish, both oral and written.
• Strong teamwork, an open mindset, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Flexibility to work in different environments and multinational teams.
• Willingness to travel and provide customer-facing technical support.
• Creativity and the ability to develop new technical solutions.
