EMC & Electrical Engineer (Space Systems)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible

hirify.global develops satellite platforms and payloads for telecommunications, Earth observation, science, and navigation programs.

What you will do

• Manage EMC-related technical activities for satellite platforms, payloads, and instruments under the System Architect.
• Develop and maintain EMC requirements, frequency analyses, control plans, and CE/CS, RE/RS, RFC, and magnetic budgets.
• Review supplier hardware designs and PCB layouts, defining EMC constraints and supporting design, development, and testing solutions.
• Define system verification and validation strategies, prepare test specifications, and maintain verification control documentation.
• Support Procurement and Quality teams with subcontractor follow-up, risk assessments, and anomaly investigations.
• Collaborate with AIT and thermal, mechanical, harness, and other engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in space projects, power electronics design, and EMC design, analysis, development, and testing.
• Strong teamwork skills and experience in multidisciplinary, multicultural engineering environments.
• Advanced English and Spanish required.
• Knowledge of requirements management, subcontractor technical management, and ESA/ECSS standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with DOORS, LT/PSPICE, MATLAB, CST, ANSYS, ALTIUM, or Python.
