Eurofighter ESCAN & DASS EW System Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; regular business travel and temporary work at aircraft or system integration rigs in Spain or abroad are required. A hybrid working model is available when possible.

What you will do

• Support Mk1 Radar equipment development, engineering, integration, and testing activities.
• Review DASS documentation, perform integration activities, and analyze impacts on other aircraft systems.
• Review and approve supplier documentation and support equipment engineering activities.
• Identify and resolve equipment, integration, certification, and quality issues.
• Coordinate with Airbus, suppliers, military customers, and Eurofighter partner companies.
• Travel to support system integration testing and meetings at AJT in Warton.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar field.
• More than 5 years of engineering department experience.
• Experience with avionics, airborne sensors, radar, IFF, FLIR, airborne defensive aids, communications and data links, or electronic warfare systems.
• Knowledge of equipment engineering and system and requirements engineering; Eurofighter process knowledge is preferred.
• Experience writing technical documentation and working independently in international, multinational teams.
• NATO SECRET security clearance and negotiation-level English are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Airbus test systems such as MaTe/AIDASS.
• Experience with sensor fusion, communications systems, or data links.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of C, C++, Python, or another high-level programming language.
• Experience with radar or the aeronautic, space, and defence industry.
