ISR Mission Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible, with willingness to travel required.

What you will do

• Develop ISR mission systems for C295, RPAS/UAS, A400M, and other aircraft platforms.
• Perform detailed system design, including functional requirements, modelling, prototyping, subsystem specifications, ICDs, drawings, and equipment integration.
• Lead supplier technical steering from supplier selection through technical control and monitoring.
• Perform verification and validation activities, including product laboratory validation and support for aircraft ground and flight testing.
• Support qualification and certification of mission systems within a V-model development framework.

Requirements

• Technical engineering profile without management responsibilities.
• Expertise in ISR missions and avionics, including maritime surveillance, patrol, antisubmarine warfare, AGS, or electronic warfare.
• Knowledge of mission sensors and subsystems such as optronics, radar, SIGINT/ELINT/ESM/COMINT, and ASW sensors.
• Knowledge of displays, navigation systems, computing platforms, transponders, UAS, and manned mission systems.
• Strong Spanish and English skills, both verbal and written.
• Proactive approach, strong communication skills, assertiveness, and willingness to travel.
