Senior Product Manager - Core Platform (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York; flexible hybrid model with at least 3 days per week in the New York City or Austin office for most roles.

Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 annually for candidates located in New York, New York; performance bonus and benefits are also included.

What you will do

• Own product direction for the Core Platform, including IAM, Access Manager, firm/user/role/team administration, enterprise authentication, content and learning management systems, and shared services.
• Drive platform modernization through self-service firm administration, bulk user management, improved authentication, and updates to a heavily used platform interface.
• Own the enterprise authentication roadmap, including firm-context resolution for multi-firm and dually registered advisors, SSO migrations, and login/session experiences.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal on identity-integrity and regulatory workflows, and set direction for hirify.global IQ platform modernization.
• Lead backlog refinement, prioritization, planning, release coordination, resourcing, and sequencing with engineering leadership.
• Represent platform priorities in cross-functional planning and translate infrastructure trade-offs into business-impact language.

Requirements

• Demonstrated product management experience leading platform or infrastructure product areas, ideally in fintech or another regulated B2B environment.
• Experience leading day-to-day product delivery with engineering teams, including backlog refinement, planning, and release coordination.
• Understanding of compliance-adjacent product work in a regulated industry, including identity verification, regulatory identifiers, sanctions or KYC-style screening, or audit trail requirements.
• Proven ability to operate as a platform product manager by defining ownership boundaries between shared-services teams and consuming teams and maintaining those boundaries with engineering peers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain infrastructure and platform work in business-impact terms to executive and non-technical audiences while remaining technically credible with engineering counterparts.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Auth0 or a comparable identity provider.
• Experience with IAM concepts, including SSO, SAML, OAuth, authorization, permissions models, and multi-tenant firm/user/role hierarchies.
• Familiarity with Team Topologies or other platform and shared-services operating models.
• Experience in wealth management, alternative investments, or capital markets technology.
• Exposure to learning management systems or compliance education platforms.
