IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal, 3 days per week. Candidates must already be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Lead software engineering teams working in cloud-native environments.
• Oversee API development, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Guide software architecture and system design for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and reliability engineering practices.
• Coach and mentor engineers to support the development of future leaders.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience leading software engineering teams in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with API development, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with software architecture and system design for enterprise-scale solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, observability, and reliability engineering practices.
• Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
• Fluency in English at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work in Lisbon 3 days per week.
• Already based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.
