Strategy Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid, Milan, Italy; remote work flexibility is available.

Gross annual salary no less than €60,000, plus eligibility for an individual or collective variable incentive based on predetermined performance objectives.

What you will do

• Support the development and continuous update of the Group strategic plan and business unit strategies.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Develop business cases, financial analyses, economic evaluations, investment assessments, valuation models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses.
• Support organic and inorganic growth initiatives, including M&A projects, strategic partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Contribute to cross-functional business transformation, operational improvement, and organizational development initiatives.
• Prepare clear executive messages, strategic recommendations, and CEO-, Executive Committee-, and Board-level presentations.

Requirements

• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including the ability to independently create high-quality CEO-, Executive Committee-, and Board-level presentations from a blank page.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities, including valuation, scenario analysis, business case development, investment assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
• Hands-on ability to independently build complex analyses, financial models, presentations, and executive materials.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality outputs.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, corporate strategy function, or a combination thereof.
• Proven experience in strategic projects, including corporate and business strategic planning, industrial plans, go-to-market strategies, business transformation, organizational design, market assessments, competitive intelligence, business planning, investment evaluations, and M&A transactions.

• Exposure to industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, or international B2B environments.
