Failure Analysis Engineer (Electronics)

What you will do

• Perform failure analyses on electronic devices, PCBs, assemblies, and components.
• Conduct electrical measurements with laboratory and test equipment.
• Analyze circuits, schematics, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Identify root causes using structured methods such as 8D, 5 Why, and FMEA.
• Define and support corrective and preventive actions, and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Suppliers, and Quality teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or a relevant technician-level qualification with experience.
• Experience in electronics failure analysis, quality engineering, repair engineering, or electronics development.
• Good understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Hands-on experience with electronic measurement and test equipment.
• Knowledge of PCB technology, electronic components, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, structured, self-driven, and detail-oriented approach.
