Manufacturing & Process Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead industrialization activities, production launches, and NPI projects from development through serial production.
• Define, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing and assembly processes, including process flows, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Support product and process transfers between development sites, production plants, and suppliers.
• Identify production risks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions using PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
• Optimize quality, efficiency, cost, cycle time, and production capacity while supporting equipment, tooling, automation, and production-line ramp-up.
• Work with R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and external suppliers on process validation, capability studies, trials, and production readiness.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in manufacturing, industrialization, or process engineering, preferably in automotive, electronics, mobility, or other high-tech industries.
• Hands-on experience with assembly, injection molding, machining, automated production lines, or electronics manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with NPI, production launches, industrial transfers, or process ramp-up.
• Ability to analyze production problems, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, tooling, and quality requirements.
• Ability to work across R&D, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach, plus good communication and organizational skills.
• Communicative English and ability to work in an international engineering environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive or e-mobility production.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, or VDA methodologies.
• Experience with automated manufacturing, robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, or Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Experience with international production sites and suppliers.
• Knowledge of CAD or manufacturing engineering tools.
• Experience in production capacity planning, line balancing, or takt-time optimization.
