Lead, Systems Administrator (Palm Bay) (TS/SCI with FS Poly)

Location: Palm Bay, Florida, US. Onsite role supporting systems at the local Palm Bay site and across the WAN. Work schedule: 9/80, with every other Friday off.

What you will do

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows servers and client systems, backup systems, network infrastructure, and databases.
• Support engineering applications, processes, and databases at the Palm Bay site and across the WAN.
• Build, configure, and maintain physical and virtual Windows and Linux servers.
• Perform system updates, patching, hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance activities.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and communicate technical issues, risks, and recommendations to management and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of related experience.
• At least 9 years of experience as a Windows System or Network Administrator supporting an enterprise-level domain environment.
• Experience managing Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Experience supporting Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, PowerShell, and security best practices.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope polygraph.
• Security clearance eligibility requires U.S. citizenship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Commvault or a similar enterprise-level backup system.
• Experience managing large-scale network storage systems.
• Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience managing systems in compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework.
