System Administrator

Location: Maryland, United States. Applicants must already hold a TS/SCI clearance with a current Full Scope Polygraph. Clearance sponsorship or processing is not available.

Salary: $189,000–$208,000 per year, plus $47,000–$52,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

What you will do

• Implement, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems across client/server, storage, network, and mobile-device environments.
• Provide Tier I help desk and Tier II escalation support, including user assistance, ticket analysis, diagnosis, resolution, and status communication.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install system software, maintain system integrity, and implement reliability and performance enhancements.
• Install and maintain Cisco routers and switches supporting enterprise systems.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, perform capacity analysis and planning, and resolve complex server, hardware, application, and software-integration issues.
• Support system design, mission architecture, associated hardware, dispatch systems, and Service-Oriented Architecture interdependencies.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five additional years of System Administrator experience in lieu of the degree.
• Current TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required before applying.
• Must be based in Maryland, United States.
• Experience with UNIX, Windows, enterprise networking, Cisco routers and switches, server hardware, and system troubleshooting.
