Specialist, Application Developer - Full Stack Developer (Palantir Foundry)

Location: Remote opportunity associated with Melbourne, FL; Arlington, VA; Herndon, VA; Salt Lake City, UT; Greenville, TX; Plano, TX; and Rochester, NY. Security clearances may be required and may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Salary: $92,500–$171,500 for California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas; $80,500–$149,500 for Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support full-stack applications, workflows, and services in the Palantir Foundry platform.
• Build user-facing functionality, backend logic, APIs, workflow automation, and data-driven features for finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning.
• Develop and maintain batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.
• Implement data transformations, validations, quality checks, ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns.
• Write documented code and participate in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, defect resolution, and compliant deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, developers, security, infrastructure, and operations teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree and at least 2 years of related experience; or at least 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar modern programming languages.
• Experience in full-stack development, including frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration.
• Knowledge of version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts.
• Agile development and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.
• Experience with enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or multi-system application integrations.
• Experience with React or Angular, backend/API development, or Python and Java scripting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, containerization, infrastructure automation, secure software development, and data governance.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare.
