Payments Consulting & Implementation Manager (Payments)

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid role requiring approximately 60% of working time, or at least 3 days per week, in the Copenhagen office. Occasional travel within Denmark and across the Nordic region may be required.

Salary: DKK 606,200–995,900 per year, potentially including sales incentive payments. Additional bonus and equity may apply.

What you will do

• Lead complex card and payment implementation, development, and migration projects from current state to target solution.
• Plan and execute change initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams involving hirify.global, client, and third-party resources while managing dependencies, risks, progress, and outcomes.
• Manage senior stakeholders and support the realization of clients’ business objectives, needs, and plans.
• Support commercial development by identifying opportunities, positioning hirify.global solutions, creating client value, and supporting sales efforts.
• Contribute thought leadership, improvements to ways of working, and projects shaping the future of payments and retail banking.

Requirements

• Understanding of card and payment products and the wider payments ecosystem.
• Strong interest in digital payment innovation, emerging technologies, and their applications across the payments ecosystem.
• Management consulting background with the ability to position services effectively, build client trust, and support commercial development.
• Relevant management consulting experience within payments or financial services, including proven ability to lead complex business and technology projects end to end.
• Experience liaising between business and technical teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Ability to manage project dependencies and associated risks, support project team members, and deliver transformation and business readiness.
• Proven experience with delivery techniques, methodologies, and best practices, including Waterfall and Agile.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Danish.
