Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and implement secure, highly available infrastructure for a high-growth financial services platform.
• Build shared infrastructure-as-code libraries, CLI tools, and codebase patterns that enable rapid infrastructure provisioning.
• Orchestrate multi-region infrastructure and deployments to meet security, availability, and compliance requirements.
• Build, maintain, and optimize high-volume CI infrastructure and reusable microservices pipeline templates.
• Implement GitOps workflows for declarative application deployments.
• Improve application monitoring and alerting with Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements

• Strong background in full-cycle software development, including the ability to build customer-facing APIs and provision Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience driving the architecture and implementation of large-scale, distributed production systems.
• Fluency in at least one modern typed language, such as TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code using Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK.
• Deep understanding of modern cybersecurity attack vectors and secure-by-default platform patterns.
• Systems thinking and understanding of distributed systems end to end.
• Methodical problem-solving and debugging of complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaboration with engineering teams, plus clear runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
• Pragmatism in balancing technical excellence with practical delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and systems that ensure infrastructure safety.
• Experience working in regulated environments or high-compliance industries.
• Familiarity with scaling data engineering pipelines and distributed databases.
• Experience with ArgoCD or Flux for declarative, state-driven deployments.
