General Accountant (AI AdTech)

Location: France; fully remote. Work may be performed from home or from offices in Paris, Lille, or London. Recruitment is mainly by videoconference, with some stages potentially requiring a face-to-face meeting.

hirify.global develops AI-powered advertising technologies and programmatic advertising products on sustainable, sovereign infrastructure, serving publishers and advertisers across web, apps, and CTV.

What you will do

• Manage bank statement entry and bank reconciliation across group entities.
• Participate in monthly closing, including accrued charges, invoices not received, accrued expenses, accrued interest, payroll entries, paid-leave provisions, fixed assets, depreciation, and intercompany entries.
• Follow up customer invoicing and weekly billing reviews, manage customer dunning and payment reminders, and process purchase invoices in Yooz.
• Review and reconcile employee expenses in Spendesk and maintain related workflows.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, the VAT control file, DES, corporate tax installments, CVAE, and DAS2 declarations.
• Resolve accounting tickets in Jira, support finance process documentation, and handle ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Accounting degree at Bachelor’s to Master’s level.
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting firm or 3 years as an accountant in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• Strong rigor, ownership, and follow-through for recurring operational work.
• Autonomous, self-driven approach and comfort working in a remote organization.
• Fluent French in a French accounting and tax environment and professional English.
• Openness to automation and AI-assisted tools, with the ability to adapt as automated invoicing is rolled out.

• Experience with Yooz, Spendesk, or equivalent tools.
