Contract Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Remote; must be open to working some overlapping hours with the Pacific Time team and customers.

What you will do

• Support the monthly close through reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoice follow-up, cash application, and aging.
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor bills, approvals, and payment runs.
• Resolve billing-related tickets from customers and internal teams.
• Work independently with the billing lead and finance team to keep accounting activities accurate and on schedule.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of accounting experience covering month-end close, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Experience at a SaaS or other high-growth company.
• Hands-on experience with accounting and billing tools such as QuickBooks, Stripe, or Bill.com.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Availability for some overlapping hours with the Pacific Time team and customers.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification or CPA candidacy.
• Experience with usage-based billing.
