Senior Fullstack Developer (AI)

Location: Remote within Europe; based in Madrid, Spain, with occasional on-site visits potentially required. Western Europe is preferred, while candidates from Eastern Europe are also considered.

hirify.global is developing an AI-powered platform for user, role, and permission management, identity verification, rewards, and integrations with CRM, accounting, and card-issuing tools.

What you will do

• Own architectural decisions for a large, actively evolving codebase in a compliance- and finance-sensitive domain covering KYC/KYB, rewards, and card issuance.
• Extend the generic-entity and schema system across 11 role-specific schema overlays without regressions.
• Lead integrations with SmartSearch, Salesforce, Xero, Pannovate, and SendGrid, including graceful handling of partial failures.
• Review code with a security-first focus on authorization, permissions, and access-control gaps.
• Maintain the project Memory Bank and feature-level documentation practices, participate in on-call and production support, and manage the DevOps area.
• As the role develops, mentor engineers and establish technical guardrails for non-engineering contributors using AI tools in the codebase.

Requirements

• Senior fullstack development experience and readiness to progress into a Team Lead position.
• Experience with Next.js 15 App Router, TypeScript, and tRPC.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, JSONB-based data modeling, pgvector, Drizzle ORM, and Zod.
• Experience with NextAuth.js, Keycloak, OIDC, and OAuth2.
• Experience with Tailwind and shadcn/ui.
• Understanding of schema- and metadata-driven system design, including role-specific schema overlays rather than off-the-shelf RBAC.
• Strong code review judgment around authorization and access control.
• Experience integrating multiple third-party APIs and handling partial failures gracefully.
• Comfort with Docker, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, Azure, and related DevOps work, including Azure Container Apps, Terragrunt, and GitHub Actions.
• Upper-Intermediate English, B2 or higher, for client-facing communication.
• Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week, on a long-term 6–12+ month engagement.
