What you will do

• Design, build, and operate innovative products and services in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using microservices in large distributed computing environments.
• Build and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective distributed systems.
• Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Use and contribute to AI-powered development tools and follow CI/CD practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including on-call operational responsibilities.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
• Expected graduation between October 2025 and September 2026, or graduation within the previous 24 months.
• Experience with real-time operating systems or embedded development, including C, C++, Rust, firmware, device drivers, Linux, ARM, bare-metal systems, kernels, or hypervisors/KVM.
• Experience with data structures, basic algorithm development, or object-oriented design principles.
• Ability to work in Berlin, Germany.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, written, verbal communication, and learning skills.

Nice to have

• Technical internships or project experience.
• Experience with AI development tools, AWS or other cloud platforms, SQL or NoSQL databases, open-source projects, and version control systems.
• Knowledge of debugging complex systems, operating systems, computer architecture, and the software development lifecycle.
