Graduate Product Managers (Fintech)

What you will do

• Research client needs through feedback, product data, and other research methods to identify problems worth solving.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear proposals, user journeys, and product requirements.
• Work with designers, engineers, and teams across the business to build reliable, intuitive solutions.
• Prioritise improvements by balancing client value, business impact, effort, and risk.
• Define success metrics, analyse results, and design experiments to improve decision-making.
• Own features from discovery through launch and iteration, using LLMs and prototyping tools to explore ideas and test assumptions.

Requirements

• First-Class degree from a top university, placing you in the top 10% of your cohort, in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Finance, or another highly quantitative subject.
• Full-time availability and willingness to work in-office.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability, including structuring ambiguous problems, identifying root causes, reasoning from first principles, and testing conclusions against evidence.
• Exceptional analytical reasoning, confident numerical work, and the ability to distinguish signal from noise and reach defensible conclusions from incomplete information.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to explain product quality, identify shortcomings, and propose simpler solutions with clear trade-offs.
• Evidence of exceptional initiative through an academic, personal, or extracurricular project taken beyond the brief and turned into something tangible.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, including concise structured explanations and defending recommendations under questioning.
• Technical fluency, including understanding how software products work, using SQL to answer questions from data, and building a simple prototype.
• Proficient, critical use of LLMs for research, analysis, and prototyping, with independent verification of important outputs.
• Fast learning, intellectual honesty, willingness to seek demanding feedback, and readiness to change direction when evidence warrants it.
• Strong interest in investing and financial products.
• Uncompromising work ethic, strong ownership, sustained effort, accountability, and commitment to improving quickly.

Nice to have

• Distinction in a competitive academic competition, Olympiad, hackathon, or research award.
• A self-directed app, tool, or other project that people have chosen to use, with evidence of improvements based on feedback.
• Strong foundations in statistics, probability, and experimental design.
• Ability to code in Python or JavaScript, or create interactive prototypes in Figma.
• Thoughtful understanding of investing products and the trade-offs between simplicity, functionality, and client protection.
