Associate Engineer, Equipment Engineering

Location: SGP - Woodlands, Singapore. Onsite role requiring 12-hour rotating shifts and work with test fixtures or equipment in a cleanroom environment.

What you will do

• Support and optimize test process operations during 12-hour shifts to meet module and production goals.
• Develop and implement test process control and improvement methods for production.
• Design and operate test equipment and fixtures, create production job files, and maintain quality while reducing defects and failure rates.
• Analyze reports and charts, identify performance trends, recommend corrective actions, and support supplier quality improvement programs.
• Coordinate with specialists and supplier representatives to resolve quality issues and ensure standard operating procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanroom housekeeping, tool and equipment custody, and Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant education and/or 1–2 years of experience in test engineering or wafer-fab production.
• Ability to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, or similar settings.
• Project management skills, including innovating, executing solutions, and navigating ambiguity.
• Strong interest in using AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
