Fab Production Control Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, SGP; onsite. Travel: 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Manage customer order intake, commitments, on-time delivery, and CLIP.
• Create and maintain customer work orders and manage inventory to meet contractual commitments.
• Develop and implement wafer start plans with Manufacturing, Engineering, Hardware, and Industrial Engineering to meet shipment goals and expedite critical lots.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Hardware, Quality, Operations, and related teams to meet delivery targets and resolve customer RMA issues.
• Analyze production data, generate management reports, and maintain accurate system data, including lot start criteria.
• Support manufacturing methods, operating sequences, process improvements, testing, root-cause analysis, cost reduction, quality improvement, lean manufacturing, automation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
• Experience with SAP software.
• Good understanding of how related teams coordinate efforts and resources to achieve objectives.
• Ability to exercise judgment and solve problems with little or no precedent.
• Effective communication, tact, and diplomacy when exchanging ideas and information.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with semiconductor fabrication operations.
• Front-end fab semiconductor experience.
• Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information clearly and build consensus.
