Legal Director (AI)

Location: Hybrid model in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, with offices at 34 HaMasger Street.

What you will do

• Partner with the General Counsel and senior leadership to translate company priorities into legal strategy, priorities, and execution.
• Advise on product development, data use, intellectual property, go-to-market initiatives, procurement, labor law, corporate matters, and related topics.
• Support governance, equity, financing, and other corporate matters.
• Identify legal, operational, and business risks and provide pragmatic solutions that balance protection and business momentum.
• Build scalable legal processes, templates, playbooks, approval frameworks, intake and triage workflows, and self-service resources.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and draft and negotiate commercial and other contracts.

Requirements

• Law degree and active admission to at least one relevant bar.
• 8+ years of relevant experience and significant in-house experience in global software, healthcare, or another regulated business.
• Strong commercial and technology transactions experience, including complex agreements with enterprise customers, partners, vendors, and other sophisticated counterparties.
• Well-rounded generalist experience covering commercial contracting, corporate law, product counseling, intellectual property, AI and technology, labor law, and regulatory matters.
• Experience building or improving legal processes, systems, tools, playbooks, or operating models.
• Proactive, forward-looking approach to anticipating needs and addressing legal, operational, and business issues before they become urgent.
• Strong commercial judgment and business savvy, with the ability to balance risk and opportunity and develop creative, pragmatic solutions.
• Collaborative leadership and influencing skills, including stakeholder alignment, cross-functional leadership, mentoring, and advancing work without formal authority.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and project-management skills, including explaining complex legal concepts in clear, actionable language.
• Curiosity and passion for how the company creates value and serves customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare technology, hospitals and health systems, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with legal operations, contract lifecycle management, workflow automation, or legal technology.
