Senior Commercial Legal Counsel (AI)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and technology agreements covering customers, suppliers, vendors, system integrators, channel partners, licensing, cloud, data, consulting, and confidentiality.
• Lead agreements with government and public sector customers, national labs, neo cloud and other cloud customers, including procurement, security, and compliance terms.
• Manage RFPs and tenders and structure business collaborations, MOUs, joint development agreements, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain scalable legal processes, policies, templates, and approval frameworks, and oversee their implementation and enforcement.
• Support privacy, data protection, AI regulation, open source compliance, and international business requirements.
• Provide practical legal guidance to business teams, coordinate external counsel across jurisdictions, and use AI tools to streamline legal workflows.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as legal counsel, ideally in-house at a technology company, with a strong preference for chip industry or deep-tech experience.
• Strong experience in commercial law, technology transactions, and licensing, including a proven record of leading and negotiating complex agreements.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or other generative AI platforms for contract review, drafting, and research, with sound judgment regarding confidentiality and accuracy.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and influence decision-making.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and ability to develop long-term plans.
• KPI-oriented approach to managing legal processes and contributing to business success.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach with excellent analytical and communication skills.
