What you will do

• Conceptually design, plan, and technically specify automation solutions and production equipment.
• Develop and implement electrical and control engineering concepts in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Select, specify, and integrate electrical and automation components, control systems, interfaces, PLCs, drives, sensors, and actuators.
• Coordinate and support equipment assembly, installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization in the production environment.
• Integrate new technologies into existing and new machine concepts and transfer prototypes into standardized series solutions.
• Maintain software versions, configurations, technical system settings, technical documentation, qualification support, CE compliance, risk assessments, and electrical safety compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Sound knowledge of electrical engineering, automation technology, and measurement, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Experience planning, designing, and implementing electrical and automation solutions.
• Proficiency interpreting electrical schematics, technical specifications, and system architectures.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, drives, sensors, actuators, and interface technologies.
• Experience commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing production equipment.
• Ability to collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and external service providers.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style, with strong IT skills.
• Team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, initiative, and a sense of responsibility.
• Fluent German language skills, written and spoken, and good English language skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of technical documentation, CE conformity, and quality-regulated manufacturing environments.
