Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid, with remote work and an office location in Geisenfeld, Bavaria, Germany. Requires on-site customer support and up to 25% travel.

hirify.global designs and manufactures collaborative robots and automation solutions for applications including assembly, machine loading and unloading, material handling, order picking, stacking, grinding, and polishing.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales to demonstrate and explain collaborative robot features, applications, and benefits.
• Act as the technical interface between hirify.global, customers, and end-effector suppliers.
• Provide on-site application support, debugging, and technical solutions.
• Evaluate customer requirements, provide pre-sales engineering support, and verify solutions on-site.
• Contribute to internal application development and demonstrations.
• Train customers in robot programming, debugging, and maintenance.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least two years of robotics industry experience, including robot debugging, programming, and solution development.
• Experience with at least one mainstream industrial robot programming language and bus communication between robots and PLCs.
• Knowledge of vision systems, robotics applications, forward and inverse kinematics, and positional multiplication.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken, is required.
• Strong communication, self-organization, and independent workload-management skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in a high-level programming language.
• Experience with SolidWorks or E-Plan software.
• Additional language skills.
