Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Location: Shanghai, China — remote within the location; some domestic and overseas travel may be required.

What you will do

• Support the full consulting lifecycle, including presales, sales support, product demonstrations, business analysis, implementation, integration, and end-user training for Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Evaluate customer business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality and document business requirements, expected actions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define current and future-state processes, facilitate decisions, and produce functional design documents for development.
• Conduct user acceptance testing, provide production support, and train customer resources to use and maintain Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Coordinate with developers, clients, project managers, team leaders, product vendors, and global teams across projects.
• Maintain quality assurance, technical documentation, project standards, and current knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O features and technologies.

Requirements

• Subject matter expertise in D365 F&O with full project implementation experience.
• Experience developing functional specifications for D365 F&O enhancements and integrations.
• Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 F&O solutions using best-practice implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
• Excellent understanding of core D365 F&O modules and best practices in the relevant specialization or vertical.
• High-quality functional documentation and strong requirements-gathering, business analysis, client-facing, communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
• Experience leading large, complex technology projects and understanding business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms and architecture, and application servers.
• Ability to provide user support and training, build relationships with varied internal and external audiences, solve complex problems creatively, and deliver high-quality customer solutions.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a global team, and remain calm under pressure; emphasis on client satisfaction.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in information technology, or an equivalent professional qualification.
