Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics)

What you will do

• Lead finance workstreams across Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Run workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into solution designs.
• Configure and implement Business Central Finance modules, including General Ledger, Purchasing, Sales, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, VAT, and Financial Reporting.
• Design integrations between Business Central and external systems, producing functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and test documentation.
• Lead data migration, reconciliation, testing, UAT, training, demonstrations, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to delivery best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong finance consultancy experience across core Business Central financial modules.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end Business Central implementations.
• Experience delivering integrations using REST APIs, OData, Web Services, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of data migration, reconciliation, and ERP testing processes.
• Experience creating functional specifications, process documentation, and solution designs.
• Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Power Platform experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps or other Azure integration technologies.
• Experience integrating Business Central with CRM, banking, payroll, e-commerce, or reporting platforms.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
• Finance or accountancy background, such as AAT or equivalent.
