Solutions Engineer (AI)

Location: In-office role based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

What you will do

• Build successful customer relationships and provide technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Advise customers on architecture, design, implementation, and adoption of the Databricks platform.
• Build working prototypes, demos, and reusable assets by writing code and using AI-assisted development tools.
• Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to support the Databricks community in the region.
• Develop toward technical and/or industry specialization.

Requirements

• 1+ years of technical experience in a customer-facing role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience.
• Hands-on prototyping and learning-by-doing mindset, with comfort using AI-assisted development tools.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, or Scala, and proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to interact with customers confidently and professionally.
• Ability to meet technical training and role-specific outcome expectations within 6 months of hire.
• Must be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and work in the office.

Nice to have

• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka and related architectures.
