Analyst Programmer (AI)

What you will do

• Own small to medium projects and change requests from requirements through release and handover.
• Work with business stakeholders to clarify processes, requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Design maintainable solutions and identify simpler or more effective alternatives.
• Build and modify features, integrations, and automations across the technology stack using AI-assisted development tools.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms, selecting appropriate technologies.
• Test implementations, coordinate UAT, manage issues through sign-off, plan releases, and prepare documentation and handover materials.

Requirements

• Commercial software development experience at a mid to senior level.
• Solid understanding of application design, relational databases and SQL, and system integration, including APIs, file-based interfaces, and message-based interfaces.
• Practical day-to-day experience with AI-assisted development tools, with the judgement to review, test, and take ownership of generated code.
• Confidence working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and manage personal workload.
• Disciplined approach to testing, user acceptance testing, release management, production readiness, and ongoing support.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and programming languages, including less common platforms.

Nice to have

• C#/.NET experience.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with ERP, warehouse, finance, or e-commerce systems.
