What you will do

• Develop software end to end, from gathering requirements with stakeholders through ongoing operations.
• Build and operate software at scale for customers around the world.
• Collaborate with a global engineering team to solve challenging technical problems.
• Experiment with solutions, learn from successes and failures, and contribute to customer-facing software.

Requirements

• Be in the final semester or trimester of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or have completed university studies within the past 24 months.
• Be able to commence between January and June 2027.
• Hold or be completing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong object-oriented design and coding skills in C, C++, or Java, preferably on Unix or Linux.
• Have experience with distributed systems, algorithms, relational databases, and optimization mathematics.

Nice to have

• Experience developing in a Linux environment.
• Experience with hirify.global Web Services platforms.
• Ability to clearly explain technical challenges and solutions.
• Ability to handle ambiguous problems and think abstractly.
